SEMINAR CANCELLED
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have cancelled this seminar.
Angus Sensei is a rokudan and chief instructor at Naka Ima Aikikai. He has practiced martial arts for over 30 years and is also a yondan in karate. A deshi of Endo Shihan, Greg hosts an annual Aikido seminar that is conducted by his teacher in Toronto, with participants attending from all over North America.
Glenn Leichman started aikido in 1980, and received his Godan from Endo Shihan in 2016. His main teachers have been Endo Shihan, as well as Jan Nevelius Shihan and Jorma Lilly Sensei in Stockholm. His aikido focuses on musubi and creating a flow of motion without the use of force. He emphasizes creating a relaxed state of body and mind.
At this retreat, senseis Greg Angus and Glenn Leichman will explore musubi, as well as the use of “non-intention” in both jiyu waza and basic technique.
They will also devote time for ukemi practice, working on maintaining a relaxed state while in motion.
