Mary Heiny Sensei, 7th Dan, has taught aikido for over fifty years.
She strives always to communicate the beauty and challenge of O'sensei's desire that we use Aikido to become empowered as creative, compassionate beings and learn to appreciate each other as members of one human family.Jan Nevelius Shihan, 7th Dan, from Vanadis Aikido, Stockholm, is a senior student of Endo and Tissier Shihans, and studied for several years in Japan under Yamaguchi Shihan. Nevelius Shihan also practices shiatsu and qiqong. His Aikido emphasizes deep connection and freedom of movement.
Kimberly Richardson Sensei, 6th Dan, is chief instructor of Two Cranes Aikido.
She began her Aikido training at Naropa Institute in 1978 and shortly after moved to Seattle to train with Mary Heiny Sensei. Determined athleticism, psychotherapy practices and energy awareness skills are key elements of her spirited teaching.Glenn Leichman Sensei, 5th Dan, is chief instructor of Aikido Seattle.
