Seattle Central is very conveniently located and only a block away from the Seattle Light Rail. So, it's easy to get to and from the airport and training hall, with downtown Seattle and the University of Washington only a stop away.
You will not need to bring weapons to the weekend seminar, but you will want a Jo for the Wednesday night class at One World Aikido.
We can make some sleeping arrangements for out-of-town guests. Please contact us if you are interested.
There are many hotels located conveniently near Seattle Central College. We recommend using one of the many online travel services like expedia.com or airbnb.com.
There is limited pay parking on streets until 8 pm and free street parking on Sunday. There is a $5 full-day weekend rate for the following nearby lot:

There will be a catered party on Saturday night, hosted by John Peng. Family and friends welcome. Directions will be provided.
We will order a mix of vegetarian and seafood selections from Snappy Dragon. If you would like to be part of that order, the cost will be $20. You can pay online by 6 pm Friday, Oct 14.
Please bring drinks and dessert to share.
On Friday afternoon, starting at 3:30 pm, we will be moving mats from Aikido Seattle to Seattle Central College. If you are available at either end, we would love the help. We should arrive at the College about 4:30 pm
Please note that pretests will be underway at Aikido Seattle until 3:30, so please wait quietly outside if you come early.
On Sunday following the seminar, we will return mats to Aikido Seattle. We would welcome as much help as is available in doing so. We will leave Seattle Central about 1 pm.
Please hand in your yudansha book by Saturday noon at the registration desk, if you wish it to be signed.
Please wear footwear between locker room and mat.
